2012 California Downwind Race Series
Event Mission Statement
To provide a series of races in California (wind willingly present) for the downwind paddleboard and SUP racing enthusiast and to provide an arena for those planning to do races in Hawaii to test their competitiveness.

• Legends Men [50 & Over]
Stand Up Paddleboard
• Stock Men [18-39/40-49] Women [open]
• 14’ Men [18-39/ 40-49] Women [open]

Event Eligibility
• 18 years or older
Scoring System - Points
Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers of each race class/ division.
1st place = 12 points
2nd place = 11 points
3rd place = 10 points etc.
Awards/ Prizes/ Participation Recognition
SUP and Paddleboard
• Top 3 point holders from each category and division will receive a custom minted medallion coin
• All paddlers who complete all 4 races will receive the coveted Series Grand Slam belt buckle
